[Closed to Abigail] TW: Mentions of death
Jan. 3rd, 2015 07:54 amThis had been a really impulsive and possibly terrible idea. As much as Kim liked Abigail- and he liked her a lot- he didn't really know her that well. Probably not well enough to hop on a plane and fly across the country to be there for her after her mother had died. But Abigail had said she wished he was there so in good conscience could he really turn her down when he had the means to go?
In hindsight he probably should have gotten a cab from the airport though because the car ride with Sam was super, super awkward. Aside from the other guy staying his name they hadn't really spoken much. It was made 10 times more awkward by knowing that this guy- who looked like the mold for a teen action hero star- had a history with Abigail. And Kim had a... a something with her. A present and a future? Ugh. Worst. Car ride. Ever.
When they finally got to their destination Kim was all too eager to hop out of the car. All he wanted to do was find Abigail and just hold her or whatever it was she wanted him to do. He was here for her after all, right?
